I Thought You Called Another Student

The history teacher is having a lesson, but Tom is looking out of the window. He sees some boys and girls are skating with great speed on the playground.

Just then, the teacher asks,“Tom, do you know who the first president of the United States is?”Tom stands up, but he can’t answer this question.

So the teacher gets angry and shouts,“George Washington!”Tom sits down.

“Stand up!”the teacher says angrily,“I didn’t ask you to sit down.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,”says Tom,“I thought you called student.”

历史老师在上课，但汤姆在看窗外，他看见一些男孩和女孩在操场上快速溜冰。老师问道:“你知道美国第一任总统是谁吗？”汤姆站了起来，但是回答不上来。

于是老师生气了，大声说道:“乔治华盛顿!”汤姆坐了下来。

“站起来!”老师生气地说，“我没有要你坐下。”

“哦，对不起，”汤姆说，“我以为你在叫另一个学生呢。”

The Nurse Should Give Me Some Money

One day, Joe is ill. His mother takes him to the hospital. The doctor asks the nurse to give him injection. Joe cries for a long time.

       “Dear son, don’t cry. You’ll fell better after a while.”

       When Joe turns around, he sees his mother take out some money from her purse and give it to the nurse. Joe says angrily,“No, she hurt me. She made me cry. She should give me some me some money.”

一天乔生病了，他妈妈带他去医院，医生叫护士给他打针。乔哭了可长时间。

“宝贝儿子，不要哭了，过一会儿就会好些的。”

当乔转过身来时，他看见妈妈从钱包里拿出一些钱给护士。乔生气的说:“不，她把我弄疼了，要我哭，她应该给我钱。”

It's Not Enough,Either.

Phillips is Mrs.King’s little son.He isn't good at numbers.Mrs.King has a tough time teaching him how to add. One day, Mrs.King is teaching him numbers.
"What's four plus four?"
Phillips counts his fingers and answers, “It’s eight.
“Good. What’s twenty minus thees?”
Phillips counts his fingers and toes.”Mm... it’s five. No, it’s seventeen.”
Phillips answers slowly.
“What’s eleven plus twelve then?”
Phillips looks at his fingers and toes.
     They’re not enough.Seeing this,Mrs.King is unhappy and says,”Use your head,Phillips.”
“That’s not enough,either. I’ve got only one head.”
Mrs.King can’t help laughing and says,”What a silly boy you are.”

菲利普斯是金太太的小儿子，他不擅长数字，金太太教他做加法题很困难。一天，金太太在教他数字。"4+4等于几？"
     菲利普斯数了数它的指头，说: "等于8。"
     "好，20-3等于几？"
     菲利普斯数了数手指和脚趾：“呃。。。等于5，不对，等于17。”菲利普斯慢吞吞地答到。
     “那么11加12等于几？"
      菲利普斯看了看它的手指和脚趾。他们不够呀。看到这里，金太太有点生气，说：“用用你的脑袋，菲利普斯。”
     “那也不够呀，我只有一个脑袋。”
     金太太就禁不住笑起来，说："真是个傻孩子。"
